PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2022
On June 12, 1898, Emilio Aguinaldo, the first and the youngest president of the Philippines, proclaimed Philippine independence from Spanish rule after 333 years. CSDFEA continues to celebrate this historical event. In commemoration of the Philippine Independence Day this year, CSDFEA supported the Padres Filipino Heritage Celebration on June 8, hosted the CSDFEA picnic on June 12, and supported the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) San Diego and the Bank of America Asian Leadership Network Mixer Beach Cleanup on June 25.
